How can I pay for the room?

In our Hotel, you can choose from the following payment options: Cash, Maestro, Visa Card, Eurocard /Mastercard, Bonus Mastercard, SZÉP (Széchenyi Holiday) card /OTP, MBH, K&H/

Does the Hotel accept the SZÉP cards, and from which sub-account can I pay for the room?

Our Hotel accepts all three sub-accounts of the SZÉP cards issued by OTP Bank, K&H Bank and MBH Bank. From the Leisure Time sub-account of the SZÉP Card, you can pay for the hotel services directly connected to the accommodation fee in accordance with Government Decree no. 76/2018 (IV.20.).

How can I pay the booking fee from my OTP SZÉP card?

After the registration, log in to the online interface of the OTP SZÉP Card as a registered cardholder; choose the hotel in the menu item “Advance payment” in the menu on the left, or choose the hotel using the menu item “Search for accepting places”, then press the button “Advance payment” and enter the exact amount of the advance to make the transaction. After identifying the accepting place and entering the card data, the amount of the advance can be transferred in the OTP direct system. A receipt is created for the transfer, which the cardholder can print out. It is recommended that you keep this receipt handy during your holiday. No further contract is required for the advance payment, in addition to the existing contract for acceptance.

Before making the transfer, please always agree the amount you wish to transfer with our receptionist.

How can I pay the booking fee from my MBH SZÉP card?

The prepayment (advance payment) is made via the Internet in the physical absence of the Service Provider (our Hotel) and the Cardholder. The Service Provider (our Hotel) and the Cardholder agree on the terms and conditions of the service, during which the Service Provider (our Hotel) asks the Cardholder to enter the "Identification Number" printed on his or her card (not the same as the card number!).

The service provider (our Hotel) informs the Cardholder (by e-mail or telephone) about the "Identification Number", name and other necessary data (validity of the request, file number (if any), e-mail address of the service provider) received from the cardholder, 

and about the "Pre-payment ID" number the service provider (our Hotel) has received from the Card Center.

After that, the Cardholder separately approves the payment via the Cardholder's menu item using the "Pre-payment ID" received from the service provider at the Card Center, by indicating the service group and the amount to be paid in advance.

If the Cardholder successfully approves the pre-payment request in the system by the specified time and date (the blocking will happen), both the Service Provider (our Hotel) and the Cardholder will be notified of the transaction by e-mail.

What are the conditions of the booking guarantee?

During the high season of the hotels and in case of group bookings, our Hotel will ask for a 30% booking advance from our dear guests to confirm the order/room reservation, depending on the booked room type in a payment notification letter. Our written confirmation takes effect once the requested booking advance arrives on our bank account by the payment deadline indicated in the payment notification letter.

I want to pay the booking fee via a foreign bank, but the bank charges me. How is the settlement done in this case?

If bank costs are charged to the Service Provider for the service fee paid by transfer, the Guest is obliged to pay such charged bank costs. In the above case, only the part of the amount transferred by the Guest, reduced by the bank charges, will be considered as a service fee. The Guest is obliged to pay the amount of the difference and the bank charge when using the hotel service, during the check-in.

What are the conditions for cancelling a reservation?

Our Hotel can accept a cancellation free of charge if it receives the request for cancellation in a letter sent to our Hotel’s e-mail address no later than 5 days before the arrival. If the guest has already paid booking advance, taking into account the specified (5-day) deadline, the reservation can be changed by 31st December of the given year for a later date by using the pre-paid amount. We do not intend to refund the amount of the booking advance. For bookings cancelled within 48 hours before the start of the reservation, the amount paid will be credited as a cancellation fee. Please note that the number of nights you have booked is payable in all cases, even if you do not use the services or only use part of them.

Can I pay in the Hotel in euros?

At the reception of our Hotel, you can only pay the charges of the booked room in Hungarian Forints. Payment in euros is only possible by bank transfer in advance, up to the amount of the accommodation fee.

More or less people wishes to arrive at the pre-arranged date…

If there is a change in the number and the age of the guests who arrive, and if the date of the booking is changed, it will be valid according to the prices of the new period.

I would like to change my room booking to another room type. How can I do that?

The booking can be modified 48 hours before the arrival, regardless of the room type, according to the prices of the new room type for the relevant period. Please ask our receptionist for help!

When can I occupy the room on the day of my arrival and when do I need to leave the room on the day of my departure?

Our guests can occupy the booked rooms from 2:00 p.m. on the day of the check-in, and we ask them to hand them over by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

When can I visit the Zoo?

The Zoo can be visited once you have occupied the room.

Can I book a 2-bed room with 1 child?

The 2-bed rooms in our Hotel are small, so we cannot place any extra bed/baby cot there. In the event the child under 4 years of age sleeps with the parents, a 2-bed room can be booked.

Which room can accommodate an extra bed?

Extra bed can be placed in the Superior Family Room or the Suite for the 5th person. It is mandatory to request an extra bed for children older than 4 years. Extra bed and baby cot cannot be placed in our 2-bed room and Standard family room.

What family-friendly service does the Hotel provide?

Superior family room or suite, which the following items, on request: baby bathtub, potty, toilet seat reducer, step-up stool, nappy changing table, baby cot (or travel cot), baby bed linen (up to 2 years of age, on request). Their use is free of charge, with prior reservation (at the time of the booking), depending on our free capacity, because they are only available in a limited number.

What type of beds are in the rooms?

Our 2-bed rooms have two separate 90 x 200 cm-sized beds or a 160 x 200 cm-sized double bed.

In our standard and superior family rooms, as well as in the Flamingo suite  there is a 160 x 200 cm-sized double bed, and the White Tiger suite: there is a 180 x 200 cm-sized double bedand a double pull-out sofa bed in these open-plan room types.

Which room type has a corner bathtub in the bathroom?

Both our suites and our 4 superior family rooms have a corner bathtub. If necessary, ask our receptionist for help!

Can I request anti-allergenic bed linen due to respiratory allergy?

As a standard, we provide anti-allergenic bed linen for our guests in all rooms of our Hotel.

Can I request a parking space for my car?

The parking lot next to our Hotel can be used free of charge by all of our hotel guests.

Can we place our luggage in the luggage room before we occupy the room? And is it possible after the check-out?

During this time, you can place your luggage in the hotel’s luggage room. Upon departure, if our guests leave the town later and the early check-out until 10 a.m. poses a problem, they can place their luggage in the Hotel’s luggage room.

Can I buy cosmetics and hygiene products in the Hotel?

You can buy cosmetics and hygiene products at the reception.

Can I book a room in the Hotel where smoking is allowed?

Smoking is not allowed in the entire area of the Hotel or in the rooms. There is a designated smoking area, outside the building, for the smokers.

Can I take my pets to the Hotel?

Live animals are not allowed to enter the area of the Zoo and the Hotel!
